Content Release & Permissions Agreement · v1.2 · effective 2026-08-01 · bundle LIC-AGR-2026.08

This agreement is provided after selection, before any content is published. It is separate from the application and from the filming-consent agreement. It governs how finished content may be used, credited, and distributed. It does not require surrender of personal intellectual property unrelated to the program.

What This Agreement Covers

· Permission to publish, distribute, and promote program footage, interviews, and participant-created content.

· Credit and attribution standards for each participant and for Iconoclashtic Records.

· Platforms and channels where content may appear (social media, streaming, press, blog, PR releases).

· Time limits or campaign windows for authorized use.

· The process to request edits, corrections, or takedown of published content.

Participant Rights

· The right to review and approve final cuts of segments that feature a participant’s name or likeness, where practicable.

· The right to request that identifiable private details (home address, family names, emergency contacts, financial data) be removed or redacted.

· The right to receive credit according to the agreed standard, unless a participant requests otherwise in writing.

· The right to request a takedown or correction of published content that misrepresents a participant or violates the agreement.

Limits on Use

· Content may not be used to imply endorsement of unrelated products, services, or political causes without separate written consent.

· Content may not be sold, sublicensed, or syndicated beyond the agreed platforms without additional written permission.

· Raw or unaired footage that a participant has opted out of remains restricted under the opt-out process.

· Private or confidential business information, unreleased music, and personal details revealed during production must be kept off public channels.

Opt-Out & Takedown Process

· A participant may request removal of specific unaired footage or published content through the written opt-out process.

· Requests must be made in writing to the program administrator or legal contact. Reasonable deadlines apply for content already distributed or published.

· Retaliation for exercising opt-out or takedown rights is prohibited.

What This Agreement Does NOT Require

· Surrender of intellectual property created independently of the program.

· Perpetual, unlimited, or unrestricted use beyond the agreed campaign and channels.

· Agreement to publish private romantic, sexual, medical, or financial information.

· Waiver of the right to report concerns or safety violations.
